Getting Started with Para
Welcome to Para, your personal productivity system based on the PARA method.
What is Para?
Para helps you organize your digital life using the PARA method - a simple yet powerful organizational system created by Tiago Forte. PARA stands for:
- Projects - Short-term efforts with a specific goal and deadline
- Areas - Ongoing responsibilities you want to maintain
- Resources - Topics or themes of ongoing interest
- Archives - Inactive items from the other three categories
Creating Your First Project
- Click Projects in the navigation bar
- Click the New Project button
- Enter a title for your project
- Optionally add a description
- Click Create
Adding Tasks
Once you have a project:
- Open your project by clicking on it
- Go to the Tasks tab
- Click Add Task
- Enter the task title and details
- Set a due date if needed
- Click Create
Quick Actions
Use Quick Actions from the dashboard to rapidly add:
- Tasks
- Notes
- Files
Press Cmd+P to open the command palette for quick navigation.
